Please find below a list of our frequently asked questions and Policies.  If you see one that isn't answered please contact us here.

1. How long does it take for my order to ship?

A: Our current processing time is listed on our home page under our shop announcement.  Because our products are made-to-order (and often customized), we normally have about a 3-7 day turn-around time (plus additional time to deliver).  These processing times can increase or decrease depending on our order volume, so it's best to check our current posted time.

2. Do your bodysuits run large or small?

A. We currently use carter's bodysuits for sizes Newborn through 24 month.  Please review the size chart below for these sizes.

For all other sizes (including preemie and toddler sizes), we use different brands, depending on what we can get in stock.  Please email us or read the details of each item to find out our current sizing.  We often times make a note within the product listing if the product is running true-to-size.

3. Can I  order from your Etsy shop instead?

A.  Sure! www.AboutaSprout.com and our Etsy shop are one in the same.  We are run by the same team and have the same great quality.  All promotions and coupon codes are normally accepted on both websites.  Feel free to order off which ever one you prefer!

4. What type of design is on the shirt? 

A.  Our designs are made with high-quality vinyl.  They are NOT iron-ons.  These are professionally heat-pressed with a commercial-grade machine right here in our shop in Texas.  Rest assured that these will be adhered to the clothing and will NOT crack or peel.  The best part?  You can wash and dry normally without worry!

(please note: legwarmers should be laid flat to dry and tutus should only be spot cleaned.)

5.Can you do a logo from my favorite sports team?

A.  We do not offer any item that has a copyrighted image, such as a sports logo or character on it.  I apologize for the inconvenience. 

6. Does About a Sprout have a store front that I can visit?

A.  We do not currently have a store front.  We ship from our headquarters in Fort Worth Texas, but we currently only sell online.

7. How should I wash my items?

A. Because our bodysuits and t-shirts use the highest of quality vinyl, you can be assured that your item will be just fine in the washer AND dryer! 

However, Please lay legwarmers flat to dry.  Please do not wash your tutu.

8.  What makes you different than other shops that sell items like yours?

A. That's easy! We have over a thousand 5-star reviews that mention our awesome customer service, quick turn-around times and great quality!  We also design OUR OWN images!  We've been in business since 2012, growing each year with hundreds of repeat customers.  We use the highest quality of vinyl (which can NOT be bought at the grocery store or chain craft stores).  We also use a commercial-grade heat-press machine (NO IRONS ALLOWED!). 9. Do you do custom orders?

A. Yes! We love doing custom orders! There are times that we can't give you exactly what you want, but we will try our hardest to accommodate! 10.  Do you ship internationally?

A.  This website is currently only set up to sell within the U.S; however, please visit our Etsy shop for international orders! We have the same great items and are set up to ship internationally!




We do not offer refund or exchanges on personalized or custom items.

Order the wrong size?  We would be happy to exchange an outfit for the same item/different size for a non personalized item.   The customer will be responsible for return shipping and About a Sprout will then pay for reshipment of the outfit (US addresses only).  Exchanges must be within 14 days.

Didn't get your item by the date needed?  Unfortunately sometimes USPS is delayed for reasons outside our control. Please always check with us first if you need an item within a week or two.  We are often times able to accommodate; however, because our items are custom made-to-order products, we need some "processing time" to make your order.  Our "processing time" is always listed on our home page.  Please add an additional 3-7 days for delivery.  ORDERING FOR A SPECIFIC HOLIDAY?---we always set an "order-by-deadline" for holidays.  You can find this date on our home page.  If you order by our posted deadline, then we will guarantee on-time delivery!   If you have placed an order after our deadline, we can not guarantee the on time delivery and will be unable to issue a refund if your item is not received before the holiday or event.

Lost or delayed package?  This RARELY happens, but we understand that there is a possibility of delay once items are out of our hands and with USPS.  We send all our packages with tracking and they typically deliver without major issue.  If for some reason your item is "stuck", we give it a decent amount of time (at least a week) to get back on track and then we will investigate further. Please account for weather delays in your area and please feel free to contact your local post office for additional information on lost packages.  Although we won't be able to refund your lost package.....We will NOT leave you hanging!  Rest assure, we will reship the item in a timely manner, if we can not resolve the issue with USPS.  Please contact us for any concern with shipping.
